Texas Wine Trail

This article on the Houston Chronicle web site about the Texas wineries in the Hill Country west of Austin is a pretty good read. Flat Creek is one of the closest to Austin and a great drive on the curvy roads of 1431 even if you don't bother with the wine. Though the wine's pretty good too. On my last trip out there a year or so ago, I picked up a bottle of their Muscato that's been cooling ever since. One of these days I'll get around to having it and post a rating here.
